Durham’s American Underground has an ambitious goal – to become the most diverse startup incubator in the U.S. by the end of 2016. The NC incubator wants women and minority-led firms to make up more than 50% of the 225 startups currently enrolled. We embrace this mindset and aspire to build a similar high-growth venture culture in Asheville.
