Our fourth Pitch for Pitchers event last night drew a solid crowd and intriguing, fast-paced pitches at One World Brewing. Four entrepreneurs pitched their 1-minute startup ideas to the energetic audience, which then shot back questions in 2-min rapid-fire Q&A sessions.

The most audience votes went to Jordan Miller with ReCyclone, an in-home automated water recycling system. The easy-to-install water saving system recycles and reuses the same water for washing, rinsing and showering while providing energy saving benefits. Jordan was rewarded with a quick $50 in his pocket, and everyone who pitched won a free pitcher of One World Brewing craft beer!

The four startup ideas included:

  • Winner (photo above): Jordan Miller with ReCyclone
  • Cate Ryba – WeeHips, high quality, American-made, super hip underwear for kids
  • Clark Harris – Private car camping with mobile app
  • Ripl – System to measure every product’s level of sustainability

Join us for the next event on Tuesday, May 5 (this is the new date) at Urban Orchard Cider Co. Get updates on the Pitch for Pitchers Facebook page.
