With spring in full swing, Pitch for Pitchers took to the outdoors last week on the side patio of Urban Orchard Cider Co. Five entrepreneurs stepped up to the mic to pitch their inspiring 1-minute business ideas to an engaged crowd.

The crowd favorite was Corey Pullium who pitched Education & Play, a video-game based concept for more interactive, effective learning that appeals to students who struggle to learn in the traditional classroom setting. Imagine Leapfrog or Rosetta taken to a whole new level. Corey walked away with $50, and everyone who pitched earned some local hard cider!

The pitches included:

  • Corey Pullium, Education & Play (above)
  • Ian, Anti-plastic T-shirt Bag
  • David Miller, Story Boarding
  • Alesha Odell, Indoor Dog Park & Bar
  • Jessica Auge, Vegan Recipe Consulting
