About The Event

Venture Asheville, the hub for entrepreneurial growth and innovation, is proud to introduce its newest and most exhilarating event, “Investomercials.” This groundbreaking initiative combines the electrifying elements of “Shark Tank” with the captivating charm of late-night infomercials, promising entertainment, innovation, and investment opportunities like never before.

On June 5th 2023 at 12PM, Venture Asheville’s Director, Jeffrey Kaplan, welcomes five investment-seeking startups to take the stage and showcase their revolutionary products and visionary ideas. Bid farewell to mundane pitch events and embrace the exciting fusion of pitches and infomercials that will captivate your imagination and leave you wanting more.

“One of the reasons we are creating this kind of pitch event is because all of these events are becoming routine, the script is always the same,” says Jeffrey Kaplan, Director of Venture Asheville. “At Venture Asheville, we aim to be on the leading edge of entrepreneurial trends, and our feeling is that pitch events are ripe for innovation. Hence our latest initiative, ‘Investomercials.’ Based on the success of this pilot, we may expand participation or industry in future Investomercials.”
