Venture Asheville Elevate, which launched in January with 10 startups, is adding 15 new ventures to its entrepreneurship program this July. Combining team mentorship modeled on MIT’s world-class mentor program and peer-to-peer advising delivered in partnership with Vistage International, Elevate provides founders with the critical expertise and support necessary to effectively scale their high-growth ventures.

Avoda – Develops software to increase work productivity, plus training and coaching
Brightfield Transportation Systems – Enables electric vehicles to drive on sunshine via its solar-integrated charging stations
Coeo – Identifies people in the room at networking events with a smartphone app
Dig Local – Connects users to the best locally-owned places to shop, eat and socialize
Dmarcian – Improves email delivery, combats fraud, and monitors domain-wide usage of email
Edibly – Creates online stores for ultra-local, handcrafted food makers and buyers
FernLeaf Interactive – Builds software for understanding and visualizing how climate affects assets and physical properties
Glance – Simplifies hiring process with an online database of 60-second video interviews from job candidates
Harvest to Market – Brings farmers’ markets online
JB Media Institute – Teaches Internet marketing best practices in a 6-week online training course
Navacy – Provides digital engagement tools for trusts and estates attorneys
Parsley – Equips restaurants with customer service software tools such as Simple Host, a text message waitlist system
Plum Print – Digitizes kids’ messy art piles into coffee table books and other gifts
Virtual Job Shadow – Creates digital, interactive career exploration content for students
