Apparel startup Appalatch has been selected as a spotlight startup company at the Decoded Fashion summit in New York City, a major fashion and tech innovation conference happening next month.
Mother Earth Produce (above) competed against five other startups in the Tap the Future national pitch competition for a $200,000 grand prize this past weekend. It took home a regional semi-final prize of $20,000 to help fuel the Asheville startup’s “three-year goal to triple our current customer base,” said Andrea DuVall, co-founder of Mother Earth Produce, a farm-to-door produce delivery service.
