Pavé founder Whit Oliver has set out to create a new brand of classic lifestyle apparel to wear between rides, made for cyclists by cyclists. It’s represented by pro cyclist Kiel Reijnen from the United Healthcare Pro Cycling Team based in Asheville. “Cyclists need a brand to call their own. That’s the inspiration for Pavé,” says Whit. Instead of using Kickstarter or Indiegogo, which keeps a higher percentage of funds raised, Pavé launched its crowdfunding campaign yesterday using Celery, a pre-order platform.
