Launched in January 2016, Venture Asheville Elevate has expanded its entrepreneurship development program to 30 Asheville area startups in July. Combining team mentorship modeled on MIT’s world-class mentor program and peer-to-peer advising delivered in partnership with Vistage International, Elevate provides founders with the critical expertise and support necessary to effectively scale their high-growth ventures.

Brightfield Transportation Solutions – Enables electric vehicles to drive on sunshine via its solar-integrated charging stations

Coeo – Identifies people in the room at networking events with a smartphone app
Dig Local – Connects users to the best locally-owned places to shop, eat and socialize
Dmarcian – Improves email delivery, combats fraud, and monitors domain-wide usage of email
Edibly – Creates online stores for ultra-local, handcrafted food makers and buyers
Efficiency Lab – Develops software for the electric power industry
FernLeaf Interactive – Builds software for understanding and visualizing how climate affects assets and physical properties
French Broad Chocolates – Produces responsibly-sourced, handcrafted, bean-to-bar chocolates

JB Media Institute – Teaches Internet marketing best practices in a 6-week online training course
LoLo – Rewards consumers for spending locally through a rewards program tied to your own credit card
Mount Inspiration – Designs and produces playful, uplifting, and 100% organic and recycled outdoor apparel
Navacy – Provides digital engagement tools for trusts and estates attorneys
Parsley Solutions – Equips restaurants with customer service software tools such as Simple Host, a text message waitlist system
Plum Print – Digitizes kids’ messy art piles into coffee table books and other gifts
PRO(TECH)T – Invented a wearable technology to fight sexual assault on college campuses
PRO-Hydro – Created H2Pro, a dietary supplement blend of probiotics and vitamins
