The bold, unique flavors of Munki Food Company’s snack mixes are a product of necessity. Expat Matthew Brown missed the food of his native England so his wife and co-founder, Gretchen, hit the kitchen to experiment. The resulting mashup of American snack foods and global flavors were a huge hit with friends and family, and Munki’s “tastebud evolution” was launched. Munki’s distinctive packaging gives customers a hint of what to expect inside. And it’s another reflection of the founders themselves — Gretchen and Matthew come from design backgrounds.
