Lowdown: Integrates brain-monitoring into electronic devices to improve human performance
Awesomeness: Created a steering wheel for Panasonic that detects driver distraction

Technological advances are making our electronic devices smarter, to the point where they’re starting to read our minds. That’s exactly what Peter Freer of Freer Logic is developing, with five patents related to human cognition and thought technology training. Freer Logic integrates thought technology with 3D training environments to enhance human performance. Using a wristband or armband instead of a headset to monitor brain waves, the technology could also be integrated into everyday electronic devices like cell phones, TVs, DVD players, and more.
