WNC’s 3-Day Startup Throwdown
Hatch This Rescheduled to November 3-5, 2017
ASHEVILLE, August 8, 2017 – Hatch This, a local competition to build a business in a weekend, has changed dates. The Hatch This team decided to move the date based on a high number of events and activities going on in Asheville during the originally scheduled weekend in September. Now the second week of September will be Asheville Entrepreneurship Week, with a host of events to be found on www.hatchavl.org/avlentweek. Hatch This is being rescheduled to November 3-5, 2017.
Hatch This is a mashup of a “startup weekend,” a hackathon and an accelerator, all wrapped up in a weekend-long party, with the goal of matching up attendees with expert mentorship as they compete for prizes including seed funding and office space at Hatch AVL.
Who should attend? People who have an idea to start a business, people who to be on the founding team of a new business, or people who want to network and mingle with the best and brightest entrepreneurs and mentors in Asheville. Attendees should be prepared to pitch a business idea or offer their skills and join a team.
Tickets can be purchased for this event at hatchavl.org/hatchthis.
Hatch This is actively seeking sponsors who desire to support the entrepreneurial community and expand their reach with a new class of business creators.
