A local startup has created a solution for the lack of affordable housing in regions across the U.S. by using advanced robotics and technology that is similar to printing a house piece-by-piece. Starting with customizable computer models, the energy-efficient homes reduce much of the construction labor with robotic machines and can be built in just 30 days with a crew of only 3-4 workers. The Fine and Small Homes models start around $90,000 and are designed to withstand hurricane-strength winds.
