Asheville climate partners have been busy working on the U.S. Climate Resilience Toolkit launched yesterday by the White House. It offers best practices to help communities prepare for and boost their resilience to the impacts of climate change.

The toolkit was a collaboration involving members of Asheville’s climate cluster, including UNCA’s NEMAC, NOAA / National Climatic Data Center, American Green Media and others. Now developing in our downtown is The Collider Center for Climate and Resilience, a collaborative co-working space designed for climate science and tech start-ups, entrepreneurs, artists, climatologists and big data specialists.
