Atlanta > Chattanooga > Nashville

9 startups, 3 cities, 1 van.

This road trip is designed to pull high-growth opportunities out of geographically isolated areas and into venues where they can make critical introductions in a short period of time. Good for startups to build exposure and visibility, good for investors to diversify portfolios, and good for communities to partner across ecosystems.

This year’s Road Trip will feature the following startups (in alphabeticla order):

  1. Appalachian Specialty Pharmacy, leveraging federal programs to provide highly complicated medications across Appalachia.
  2. Elaine-Marie, a new artisan gift registry created to change the way we buy and receive gifts. Our curated market place was born out of a desire to connect our artists and makers with today’s evolving consumers. We provide meaningful gifts for people who care.
  3. Hyst, Lottery site to bid on exclusive sneaker drops, it’s a sneakerhead’s dream.
  4. JustKibbitz, a dating site to help someone you love find someone they’ll love. A matchmaking dating site, putting mothers in the driver’s seat, having them meet and match with other moms before setting their kids up on dates.
  5. MoodZee, Blended essential oils when inhaled or absorbed through the skin shift mood and emotion. Moodzee’s pill shaped packaging is portable and ready to use, safe and pre-diluted so you can take it on the go. The perfect way to manage life
  6. SDV Office Systems, veterans designing spaces to heal veterans.
  7. The Bright Angle, luxury porcelain lighting using a proprietary blend of porcelain and glass, some of the most amazing fixtures you’ll see.
  8. Wunderfund, a national public fundraising portal is on a mission to fuel the moonshots & fund the dreamers in the underserved midwest and south. Raising $1M in equity to launch into Real Estate & Healthcare verticals.

This event series is co-hosted and presented with the following partners: Atlanta Tech Village, CO.LAB, INCubator at the Hamilton County Business DEvelopment Center, the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, and Wunderfund.

At each stop on the tour, each startup will give a 7-minute pitch, followed by time for networking and Q and A. Tickets are free, but required. Food and drinks are served at each venue.

For questions about the companies, the route, the events, or media inquiries contact Director of Venture Asheville and bus-driver, Jeffrey Kaplan.
